Free Walking Tour – Victoria’s Historic Downtown

Victoria was a thriving west coast city in the 19th century when Vancouver and Seattle were mere towns, and it has an incredible wealth of surviving Victorian-era architecture.

Dave Mason (Predator Ridge 60s), owner of www.comeseevictoria.com, is offering a social event for interested Playmakers players and spouses on the Wednesday evening. The evening will begin with a one-hour walking tour around the downtown area, telling the story of our fair city. The tour will wind up at the Bard & Banker Pub, one of our fine historic pubs, for drinks and/or food.

Date/Time: Wednesday March 21, 2018 at 6:30 pm

Meet At: Visitor Centre, corner of Government & Wharf Streets (map here)

Cost: No charge for the walking tour. Folks pay their own food & drink at the pub.

Parking: On-street parking (numbered blue posts) and the city parkades are all free after 6 pm. The Bastion Square Parkade (off Yates Street) is a good choice.
